Training logs and %1RM
Log load and reps for each set and estimated 1RM is calculated automatically. Prescribe by %1RM and share periodized programs across teams.
For coaches & trainersAthlete monitoring app
From about $22/month. Athletes log sleep, fatigue and soreness on their phones. ATHCON does the math and flags only the athletes who are off their normal — so you can coach more teams, even remotely.
Opening to teams outside Japan soon · No credit card required
* Based on 4 hours a week × 52 weeks at $25/hour of data collation ($5,200).

The problem
You know athlete monitoring matters. What is missing is a system you can keep running. Most coaches hit the same wall.
01
Collect paper forms and messages, copy them into a spreadsheet, build charts, share them. That is not what you were hired to do.
02
You spot the fatigued athlete right before the game — or after the injury. Nobody has time to read every athlete's numbers every day.
03
Paper logs get skipped, and you cannot compare with the same point last season. Your data never becomes evidence for your coaching.
04
You would take on more teams, but if you are not on site you cannot tell how athletes are doing — so the opportunities slip away.
Manual work every week
4 hours × 52 weeks = 208 hours a year
With ATHCON, it is all done automatically the moment athletes check in.

How it works
Step 1 · Athlete
Athletes tap sliders for sleep, fatigue, soreness and more. Nothing to install — it runs in the browser.
Mon, Oct 5
Today's check-in
Step 2 · App
Not a team-wide cut-off: ATHCON measures how far each value is from that athlete's own 14-day baseline and color-codes it as great, normal, caution or alert.
Athlete B · Fatigue
Deviation from baseline
Caution
Fatigue has been above this athlete's normal for 2 days in a row.
Step 3 · Coach
No need to read every number. Flagged athletes are listed first, so you know exactly who to talk to — across every team you coach.

Features
No feature bloat. Everything is designed around one question: will a busy coach actually use this every day?
Log load and reps for each set and estimated 1RM is calculated automatically. Prescribe by %1RM and share periodized programs across teams.
Change from the last test, rank within the team and S–A–B grades by category — all automatic.
Team goals set by coaches and personal goals set by athletes, color-coded side by side.
Coaches see the whole team; athletes see only their own data. Other athletes' numbers are never shown.
Switch between the teams you coach on the same screen. Works for leagues and organizations with multiple teams.
Your athletes can start checking in today.
Set up in minutes. No credit card required.
Evidence
We do not build on hunches. Our staff, with experience coaching everyone from youth athletes to pros, turn research findings into product decisions.
What the research found
Predicting injuries from a single load ratio (ACWR) is risky: the ratio carries mathematical distortions, and the choice of metrics and time windows makes false positives likely.
In ATHCON
Instead of one ratio, ATHCON flags each athlete's sleep, fatigue and soreness against their own baseline over the previous 14 days.
Impellizzeri FM, et al. Training Load and Its Role in Injury Prevention, Part 2. J Athl Train. 2020;55(9):893-901.doi:10.4085/1062-6050-501-19 ↗What the research found
The countermovement jump (CMJ) can track fatigue and supercompensation. In a meta-analysis of 151 studies and 531 effect sizes, the average value detected fatigue more sensitively than the best value.
In ATHCON
Log jump and other test results by date, then view each athlete's trend and team comparisons in charts.
Claudino JG, et al. The countermovement jump to monitor neuromuscular status: A meta-analysis. J Sci Med Sport. 2017;20(4):397-402.doi:10.1016/j.jsams.2016.08.011 ↗What the research found
Stopping sets at 20% velocity loss meant about 40% fewer total reps than going to 40% loss — yet jump performance improved more (+9.5% vs +3.5%).
In ATHCON
Estimated 1RM is calculated automatically from each set's load and reps, so you can prescribe by %1RM and avoid chasing volume for its own sake.
Pareja-Blanco F, et al. Effects of velocity loss during resistance training. Scand J Med Sci Sports. 2017;27(7):724-735.doi:10.1111/sms.12678 ↗What the research found
A systematic review of 248 studies and 9,440 participants on the Yo-Yo tests. For sub-elite soccer players, a YYIR1 difference of roughly 92–138 m is considered a meaningful change.
In ATHCON
Store fitness test results, including the Yo-Yo test, and see each athlete's change from last time and position within the team automatically.
Schmitz B, et al. The Yo-Yo Intermittent Tests: A Systematic Review and Structured Compendium. Front Physiol. 2018;9:870.doi:10.3389/fphys.2018.00870 ↗Remote coaching
Athletes log data every day and you can review it from anywhere. Even if you visit once a week, you know how the other six days went — so you can take on teams in other cities.
